Their chicken and seasoning is amazing. Perfectly fried and still juicy throughout although small compared to other places. I do like they offer all dark or light meat options. Limited menu, but that’s expected. You come here for the chicken, so that’s what they serve with a few options for additional sides. Located on the south side of Glenoaks. Parking lot entrance and exit on Glenoaks, no access from the side street. Seating is super basic but they have TVs for sports everywhere. Beer is pretty affordable as well.

Last week I went to a restaurant right in front of this chicken joint and thought to myself " I gotta try it!" The item that made me walk in the door, was the Green Fried Tomatoes, i had the tenders with Mac n' cheese and BBQ beans. My wife had the wing a-la-carte and the potato salad! The crisp on the chicken was awesome, and i can't identify what was in the batter but it was awesome. They have a counter you can watch games from and plenty of tables. Our waitress, as well as the rest of the staff that served us, was very helpful and friendly. Definitely give it a go!

This spot is a classic you can never go wrong with Gus’s fried chicken the chicken is so good and their quality is always consistent . It is a little bit pricey compared to Popeyes/KFC but it’s worth it.

A day ago my family and I went to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. They were extremely nice to us, as it was our first time there. I got a 3 piece dark chicken meal (which came with 2 thighs, a leg, baked beans, and coleslaw) and I was not disappointed. The chicken were delicious, so good they could be world famous. The beans were the best baked beans I had ever had. The only thing I didn't like was the coleslaw, which was a bit lackluster. On the menu you can get both white meat or dark meat chicken, in case you prefer one over the other. Overall, Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is one of the best fried chicken places I have ever been to.

The place has a nice atmosphere, it is kept clean, they have several large screen TV spread among the dining area you can watch sporting events, the staff was nice and friendly and professional. I ordered the 3pcs White and paid the $.50 substitution fee to Switch the side from slaw to French fries, the soda was free refill (except for the bottled root beer). The Fried Chicken skin seemed dark and overcooked but was surprisingly juicy and cooked just right. They warned me that it ‘s spicy but I found it to to spiced enough for taste. It was a bit pricey for a 3pcs meal but worth it to try and have once in a while.

I had been wanting to come here for the longest and I finally made it here. First thing I noticed upon entering was a sign telling exactly what you needed to do for dine-in or takeout. After seating myself, the waitress, Angie, can over to offer me to place my drink order. I told her I was ready for everything now. After ordering my food, it came out within five minutes, hot and smelling good. The chicken I chose was on the small side but it made it up with the flavor and the hint of spicy to it. It was juicy and eat bite had the same taste a the last. The next thing I dove into was the Mac and cheese. They had a crust baked over it and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was in the top best that I’ve had in my life. The fries were sprinkled just right with seasoned salt, the cole slaw was wet but not overly wet while the potato salad was decent. A lot better than most places. I would definitely recommend this place to someone if you’ve never been. Angie, my waitress was very attentive and she made she that my drinks were topped off on the regular. Don’t sleep on this place.
